I don't really use DA anymore as it's too long and confusing to upload photos. Flickr all the way these days. I also now have a blog and have been taking and uploading at least one photo every day.

I've finally got my D200 at long last!
And it's every bit as amazing as I expected.
I haven't been uploading too many photos recently as i'm shooting for a couple of magazines and of course once i upload a photo online, noone is going to pay me for it.

I'll sort through and upload a bunch that I haven't used soon.

Okay so it's January.
And I haven't written a journal in a very long time.
I've cleared out my gallery a little over the past week or so as i've just got a new camera.
Nikon D40x. So i'm repping digital now for the first time. And I must say i'm enjoying it a lot.

The majourity of my album is still film photography but from now on the newer stuff will be digital.

The D40x goes alright however i would very much like to upgrade to a D80. Mainly for the higher shutter sync and the build quality. My current camera is limited to 200th second with the flash, however the D80 has a 500th second limit.

I also just purchased a flash remote and reciever so i'm having fun experimenting with that.

Expect regular updates from now on and plenty of new photos.

I've been a lazy aunt lately.
And haven't taken any photos.
But lately i've been at it again and am getting a couple of old films developed today.
Should come up with some winners.

I've got more motivation again. So that's a plus.

I've been lazy lately. And I do apologise. Well it's not so much me being lazy, but more a lack of funds. I have about 3 films to be developed but so many other things that I need to pay for. Our band and another local punk band, along with a group of stencil artists are renting this house in town. It's quite grand. Great practise/recording space. However it does drain a lot of my money. Especially considering there are two out of five members in my band that don't have jobs. Bleh.



Also our Album is done. Completely. We just owe a vast amount of money in order to retrieve the copies. Ha. It is being released on the 19th of October.
So that is exciting.

All this said, I will try to get some more photography up soon. I'd really like to. Thankyou to my few watchers and loyal friends. Your comments and such do really mean a lot. If it weren't for you i'd have left DA long ago.
